Fraser

Dr. Anne Fraser Matthews

Dr. Fraser has been associated with Lancers Square Animal Clinic since 1983. Having grown up taking care of family pets in St. Louis, Missouri, she knew as a child she wanted a profession caring for people and animals. Veterinary medicine was a perfect match.

After graduating in 1983 from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia, she married and got to Texas as soon as she could! Initially, Dr. Fraser practiced in a number of small animal clinics in Dallas and Plano. Eventually, she established her own small animal relief practice and has worked with Dr. Reeves ever since.

Dr. Fraser is a member of professional associations at national, state (Texas and Missouri) and local levels. Monthly veterinary continuing education meetings, annual educational conferences, and independent study keep her current on treatments and procedures. She especially enjoys pocket pets: rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, hedgehogs, gerbils, mice, hamsters, and rats.

Dr. Fraser has a blessed life because she has the joy of caring for the pets and families at LSAC while raising, with her husband, a family of three boys and an array of pets.

Now, she’s thrilled to serve as a member of Lancer’s Square’s talented Veterinary Technician team.

Amber grew up in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Texas with her family at the age of 13. After her time in the human medical world, she returned to college to study animal medicine, then took jobs at a local clinic and a cat boarding facility. Amber graduated with her degree in veterinary technology,as well as a degree in psychology. She has two beloved Cats and One Dog at home: Miyah, a tuxedo cat who serves as Amber’s unofficial emotional support animal, a playful snowshoe cat named Peter Parker, and a Goofy Boxer Mix pup named
