Dr. Lee Reeves

Dr. Reeves has been involved with veterinary medicine since childhood. His father was a veterinarian and scientist for the U.S. Air Force who would occasionally take his young son to his lab. As a boy, Dr. Reeves worked in animal hospitals, learning the basics of animal care. After graduating from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1973, he joined the staff of a large group veterinary hospital in Dallas. Desiring a more personalized practice, Dr. Reeves moved to Plano, Texas and opened Lancers Square Animal Clinic in 1978.

Dr. Reeves is actively involved in the veterinary profession, holding memberships in local, state, and national veterinary medical associations including the American Animal Hospital Association. In 1994 Dr. Reeves received the prestigious Distinguished Alumni Award for Companion Animal Medicine from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and has been cited as a Best Vet in Dallas D Magazine.

Community involvement has long been part of Dr. Reeves’ life. He has served on various local non-profit boards and has been a frequent speaker at schools and civic organizations. He is considered an authority on the speech disorder of stuttering and is a past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Stuttering Association.

Dr. Katherine Fennell

Dr. Katherine Fennell is the Medical Director at Lancers Square Animal Clinic. Dr. Fennell grew up in the Dallas area and graduated from Parish Episcopal High School. She went to Texas A&M University for her undergraduate degree in biomedical science and veterinary school.

Since graduating Texas A&M’s veterinary school in 2017, she has loved practicing ever since. She loves seeing canines, but has a special passion and training in feline medicine especially in surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. At home, Dr. Fennell has two dogs and three cats. She is thrilled to be part of the Lancer Square Family.

Dr. Anne Fraser Matthews

Dr. Fraser has been associated with Lancers Square Animal Clinic for 29 years. Having grown up taking care of family pets in St. Louis, Missouri, she knew as a child she wanted a profession caring for people and animals. Veterinary medicine was a perfect match.

After graduating in 1983 from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia, she married and got to Texas as soon as she could! Initially, Dr. Fraser practiced in a number of small animal clinics in Dallas and Plano. Eventually, she established her own small animal relief practice and has worked with Dr. Reeves ever since.

Dr. Fraser is a member of professional associations at national, state (Texas and Missouri) and local levels. Monthly veterinary continuing education meetings, annual educational conferences, and independent study keep her current on treatments and procedures. She especially enjoys pocket pets: rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, hedgehogs, gerbils, mice, hamsters, and rats.

Dr. Fraser comments she has a blessed life because she has had the joy of caring for the pets and families at LSAC while raising, with her husband, a familiy of three boys and an array of pets.
